Where to get Derma-smoothe "shower" caps?

Hi everbody,

I have been suffering from scalp psoriasis for the last year. The only treatment that has been effective is to wet my hair, rub in Derma-smoothe and some liquid Clobetasol, use the shower cap that is provided with the Derma-smoothe, and wear it overnight (this is necessary approx. once per week, or more if it's cold outside).

I recently tried using olive oil as an alternative, since Derma-smoothe is expensive and I'm worried about the side effects of using Clobetasol on a weekly basis, especially when rubbing it into wet hair, where it could easily drip down to my facial skin and neck.

Happily the olive oil seems to be just as effective (although I've only used it twice) but now I'm wondering where to get shower caps that are similar to the ones that come with Derma-smoothe. The shower caps are made of very thin material and the elastic is relatively weak, so they are relatively easy to sleep with. I bought some shower caps from the drug store but they are too "heavy duty" to sleep with, i.e., distractingly thick and plastic-y and the elastic is strong enough that it hurts my head and ears after a few minutes.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

By the way you might ask your doc to perscribe Diprosalic scalp application as can clear the scalp not just keep it at bay. Stings like help if you have been scratching your head mind you...

Look for a hotel supplier - they sound like the type you want. You should be able to get 25 for about $10

If there is a hair salon u go to , they might have caps for people that get there hair done, ask a salon, or go to a local cvs, or ride aide, and ask if they carry shower caps or hair coloring caps for sale. I'm sure you can get them somewhere, and I love derma smoothe....and it is expensive!!!!! even with my insurance...
