Why do I get blisters on my fingertips after drinking a lot of water?

I keep my hands very soft, using lotion on them every day. I have a fear of water that is so bad, I cannot even stand the taste; so I drink Mio in very small quantities in a 1-liter bottle which I refill at least 3-8  times throughout my 18-hour day. When I get up in the morning especially, I get dry mouth, and sometimes down two of my liter bottles in one sitting; then about 5-20 minutes later, little, painless, clear blisters will form on a few of my fingertips. They pop very easily, and leave my finger feeling fine--I just don't know WHY that happens?
