Why do I get itchy when hot or stressed?

I’ve been having this issue for the past two years where I get light itches (no rash) at random areas in my body whenever my body heats up or I get stressed/nervous.

It’s very strange because I have no visible rash and the areas of itching are inconsistent. Also this happens whenever I start an exercise but it’s important to note that all the itching goes away as soon as I break my first sweat. Once I start sweating, I never feel itchy.

I’ve seen a dermatologist for this and she concluded that it’s Urticaria although I don’t have any rashes or hives. She prescribed me Aerius (desloratadine) but it doesn’t stop the itching at all and is completely useless as far as I can tell.

What’s also strange is that I currently live in Dubai, UAE where I was born and raised and have supposedly gotten used to the heat. However, my condition started when I came back to Dubai after living in the UK for five years.

I’d really appreciate some insight on this and hopefully some possible solutions.

Thanks.
