Widespread non itchy red dots all over skin after shower?

After taking a shower loads of tiny red dots appeared all over my skin which looked like chicken pox but they didn't itch which I thought was odd. They are slowly starting to fade after half an hour.

I suffer from excema so I initially thought it could've been an allergic reaction to my body wash or soap. However I regularly use these products and have never had this problem.

I then thought it could've been razor burn, but the rash had appeared in places I didn't shave.

any help is appreciated!
