You say what the dermatologist said about the toe, but not about the other spots. I assume the doctor looked at those too, and thought they were OK.
You don't have to worry about spreading anything from picking at it. My advice is to leave the apot alone, apply bacitracin ointment twice a day to heal it, and then show it to the doctor in 2-3 weeks, once it has fully healed. Your interference is reversible.
Best.

hi,
Well I initially showed the lesions to my primary health care provider. I was referred to a dermatologist who examined my toe. I am unsure about whether this mark was examined also, and I simply assumed a common diagnosis. It did not dissapear as did the other marks and thus my unfortunate picking of the area. I will consult my doctor again, I was really just worried that if it was different then I might have encouraged spread of a potential tumour. could causing the area to bleed encourage spread of a growth?
Will
No, it couldn't do that.
