Worried about skin cancer

Two weeks ago, I developed a small (shape of a peanut) red spot on my upper thigh. It is very light red, almost pink. It does not itch, burn, or hurt in any way. It is not raised. If I do not put lotion then it gets dry easily. I have a history of mild scalp psoriasis. Should I be worried about this discoloration?

Cherry angioma from your description. Consult your doc.

I looked up pictures of a cherry angioma, but it is not like my pinkish/red spot. Could it be skin cancer?
