Zit Or Pimple On Genital

SP6
Hello, I am a 17 yr old teen..... well i havent had any sexual intercourse for almost 1/2 a year... But recently, I found out that i have a pimple on my genital...6 months ago i had an sexual intercourse with my girlfriend, she took blood tests but there was no sign of any disease.... No symptoms were shown as far as i'm concerned...I always use condoms during intercourses but the thing is this zit on my penis doesnt show any pain but the look of it makes me feel bad.. it had a white color , similar to the ones that are found on the face (the white color in zits) ...what can i do to make it disappear...In addition, i had masturbated in these past 6 months off course... My question is how can i cure this pimple and what does it signify??

This discussion is related to penis zit question.

Hi,

Folliculitis is inflammation of the hair follicle - it can occur during if hair get pulled out due to friction, tight clothing etc. Try not to squeeze it.

Individuals who are predisposed to folliculitis should be extremely careful about personal hygiene. Application of antiseptic washes may help prevent recurrences. A topical antibiotic cream, mupirocin (Bactroban®), has been effective at reducing bacterial colonization in the nostrils. It is applied twice daily for a week and is repeated every 6 months.

Hi,

This could be acne, pimples, boil or folliculitis. In most individuals there are outbreaks of folliculitis from time to time.

Folliculitis is infection and inflammation of the hair follicles. The condition may be superficial (i.e., on the surface of the skin) or deep within the follicles. The most common cause of folliculitis is infection by the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus.

Folliculitis symptoms can appear independent of infection. Exposure of the skin to certain chemicals, especially oils and tars, can trigger an outbreak. People with depressed immune systems, diabetes, or obesity have a greater risk of contracting folliculitis than the general population.
