I have white oval spots on chest(neck) from last 7 months at first that was only one but now a days they are 2-3 and there is no any itching and other........
also before some days i saw some many white spots on my back der is also no itching
plz help me

at first thank you  so much,
Actually now I am in China and I will g to India in January..
and now m using KETOCONAZOLE OINTMENT on effected part..
with that white spots now a days or from last month also I hav lots of dandruff in my hair...
so plz guide me because der is one month for India (doctor visit)

Based on your symptoms it is possible that you are suffering from Tinea versicolor.It is caused by yeast called Malassezia furfur which normally live on the skin of most adults. This fungus produces a chemical, which inhibits the normal production of pigment in the skin resulting in areas of lighter skin .The other differentials of your condition are Pityriasis alba which  produces mild, patchy lightening of the face, shoulders, or torso. In vitiligo there is a permanent loss of pigment. It is best to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist and get checked. Treatment will depend on the cause.
