hello. went to Dr, on heavy antiboys (sp?) sending me to a infectious disease Dr.  my own dr was grossed out.  seeing dr tomorrow am.  taking pills every 6 hours, forgot one, was almost healed up, but after skipping one pill all broke out again.  i don't mean to pick, but they hurt or itch and feel better when i do.  i don't pick all the time, had this since feb, it is a staff that wont go away. now it is on my cuticules.  that hurts, when i open the scab (which came from nowhere) it is relief.  faint smell, and it feels like my skin can breathe.  almost like a temp change.

Hi, It appears that you are developing infections to some other bacteria now. This happens usually due to the itching exposing the skin to the bacteria, which are now able to grow easily since the antibiotics for staph have altered the normal flora of the skin leading to removal of friendly bacteria which would have kept the infection causing bacteria at bay. I think you may continue to use the same medication as prescribed by your doctor for staph and try to avoid itching at the areas which may lead to spread of the infection to other areas which are currently unaffected. let me know if you may need any more help.
