Hello,
From the picture it looks like Pyoderma Faciale. This type of severe facial acne affects only females, usually between the ages of 20 to 40 years old, and is characterized by painful large nodules, pustules and sores which may leave scarring. It begins abruptly, and may occur on the skin of a woman who has never had acne before.
I sincerely suggest you to consult a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Treatment is with oral antibiotics, not a serious problem. This is only a pic diagnosis as I have already mentioned, and I would need more inputs to make a firm diagnosis.Even regular acne that is picked may resemble this photo.
Acne Varioliformis Hebra is my picture diagnosis.Varioliformis is another type of scalp acne that many physicians consider to be a type of folliculitis, and is treated in the same manner. Varioliformis is characterized by brown pimple-like formations around the front hairline and the forehead.
