big blisters

hi i am looking for abit of help i have skin lesions the drs thought it was pyoderma gangernosum but after been treated for 7 yrs for it they have now said it isnt and have no clue on what it is the call it a mystery skin disease  which they can not treat and i just have to live with it they are real sore and i need to be on morphine for pain after the blister goes the tissue dies and goes gangrene

And also certain anti-diabetic drugs may induce porphria cutanea tarda. Do consult your doc. Best wishes for speedy and complete recovery.

The higher prevalence of diabetes among those with porphyria than the general
population is well-known and well documented.

Had a look at the new photos. A urine test for porphyrins is indicated.

Although bullous disease of diabetes lesions often heal without significant scarring, they may be recurrent and also may lead to ulceration.[5] There have also been reports of osteomyelitis arising at a site of bullous disease of diabetes[6]

just read up on internet about it but i suffffer extreme pain uncontrolable at times my lesions last up to 2 to 3 months i will ask dr

i am diabetic maatson drs havent suggested that have had lesions for 8 yrs over those yrs had about 60 of the lesions will ask him tomorrow ty

Are you a diabetic? Acral bulluous diabeticorum is my clinical impression .As  a differential diagnosis I would consider porphyria. Best wishes.
