Hello,
These painful mouth patches can be due to thrush or leukoplakia. Leukoplakia is a white lesion that can't be removed simply by rubbing the mucosal surface. It may occur in response to chronic irritation from dentures or from tobacco use or pipe smoking, or it may represent dysplasia.
Oral infections by Candida species usually appear as thick white or cream-coloured deposits on mucosal membranes. For confirmation, microscopic examination and culture of the scrapings is usually done.Even a small sample is sufficient to test for candida but false negative results are possible when the scrapings have been scrapped off or some hot liquids taken before the test.
I sincerely advise you to consult a physician and get it rechecked. Moreover other conditions causing such symptoms like leukoplakia (a white lesion that can't be removed simply by rubbing the mucosal surface—unlike candidiasis) and lichen planus (painful white, erosive sores on the gums, tongue and throughout the mouth.) have to be ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
Oral antifungals are with any side effects and are not available without a dermatologist’s prescription. Many orazl antifungals are used like Griseofulvin, Terbinafine and Itraconazole but they have many side effects and should be used under a dermatologist’s guidance.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hello,
From your symptoms the possibility of erythrasma needs to be ruled out. The typical appearance is well-demarcated, brown-red macular patches. The skin has a wrinkled appearance with fine scales. It has to be differentiated from contact dermatitis, psoriasis, sweat dermatitis and fungal infections which may mimic it. Wood lamp examination and gram staining are the tests for its diagnosis.
So nothing can be confirmed without examination.
