brown, beige and red dots all over skin

Hello doctors and forum fans.

For the past 6 months, I have been getting many little brown and beige dots and little spots (about 1mm - 3mm) all over my face, neck, arms, back and cheast. I also have a few on my legs and feet. I have very light fair skin. I'm 31 years old with very limited sun exposure. I'm getting a lot of of these new dots/spots on a weekly basis. Some of them look like moles and some look like age spots. My doctor told me that they were just moles, but I don't understand how I could be getting so many in such a short period of time? I used to have perfect skin and 6 months ago, things starting going downhill. I'm convinced that this is not moles or age spots and that there's an underlying condition that's causing these, such as perhaps an allergy, virus, other health issue. I've also had a few of these spots turn into small skin sores, almost like a mosquito bite that's been scratched too much. What would be the different possibilities that could be causing my condition? Keep in mind that I had zero moles 6 months ago and now I have 50ish looking skin dots/moles.

Thank you Dr. Kaur for your quick response and explanation on possible diagnosis.

I made an appointment with Dr. Rockoff from this forum since his practice is only a few hours from where I live. I'm looking forward to getting a diagnosis from him and hopefully a possible remedy / treatment.

Thanks again. Will keep you posted.

Best regards,
Serge

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be freckles, moles or lentigo. Lentigo is a small, sharply circumscribed, pigmented macule surrounded by normal-appearing skin.
You cannot remove them at home. Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities. Although there are many skin creams like hydroquinone and salicylic acid, but their use needs prescription .I would recommend a dermatologist’s consultation for this.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
