can eczema leads to herpes

Iam a 22 yrs old young woman who has been diagnose with eczema since frm childhood. My problem is last year went to the clinic to consult because i have unbearable boils on my private parts, buttocks and under my armpits and some times they can appear on my chin. One of the staff nurse told me that I have herpes and is a sexual transmitted disease. So what confuses me is that I have been in this conditions since I was a kid and my boyfriend break my viginity in 2007 and I was having those boils in my private parts so what I want to know is, is it possible for a child to be born with herpes and eczema at the same time or can eczema leads to herpes

Hello,
Eczema does not lead to herpes and is not contageous while herpes is. Herpes is a virus and it spreads by contact. The contact can be due to physical contact or sexual etc. These are common ways of infection: 1] By kissing someone if u have cold, or sore throat 2] Through vaginal or anal intercourse or oral intercourse 3} during pregnancy by mother to baby at birth 5} touching the sore infected outbreak like fingers, eyes etc can also possibly pass virus.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Ive had eczema since i was a child as well and ive never heard of it leading to herpes. Eczema is not contagious. Was your boyfriend a virgin when you had sex? He could be a carrier, showing no symptoms.
