yeast infection

This happened to me 3 weeks ago it started one morning. I woke up went to pee and I noticed that it hurt. Looked down and the head of my penis was covered with this white cottage cheese like and it had a strong oder. Got scared went to the doc he said it was yeast infection well almost on my 4th week and it seems to have subsided atleast thats what im hoping for. Yesterday on the head of my penis their was this patch of skinlike thing and I was able to take it of. It reminded me of a snake sheding its skin well the skin under that looked normal no rash but it felt a lil thin when touched it would rinkle like if it was burned dont know if it was because of the cream. Has anyone experience this

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One of the possibilities for your symptoms is of balanitis. Oral course of antibiotics is needed. In addition, don’t use any cosmetics on the penis, instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin. Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin. In case the symptoms persist then consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and antimicrobials and steroids prescription.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
