cherry angiomas

I have had cherry angiomas since i can remember. I have few (3-4)big ones near my breast and on my abdomen. but last year I had a lots of pin pricked red dots on my both arms. I did not bother about them then, but they have become more prominent now and people have started noticing them. Since last few days I am monitoring them and I feel like there are new ones each day. I saw a dermatologists and she said that they are angiomas and not to worry. She has asked me to do blood work for testing liver function and hormones. My question is will all these pin head dots grow big and form a papulae. I am worried that it will look horrible since I have them in lots(at least 50-60) on each arm. Is there any way that one can stop having more of these and stop the exsisting ones from growing any bigger.

Thanks for the reply, I know that these run in my family and my mom has several of these (15-16 in number). But my concern is that is it normal to have an outbreak of these? do they ever go away? can one stop them from comming?  I have learnt that they appear gradually as you age I am in early 30's and for the number of angiomas that I have I am worried that my body will be covered with them.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Cherry angioma is a cherry-red to purple colored benign skin tumor of unknown origin that appears most frequently after age 40.Firstly they are the size of a pinhead but they can grow and can be even1/4 inch also.

Treatment options include electrosurgery, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen and laser vaporization(gives excellent cosmetic results).

I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options with him.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries.
