l dont think l have any allergies, but l have had a case where my face was so bad and usually during summers that l went to the skin dr and got those medications.l also take hormonal tablets called pregotime to help me get pregnant.l suspected that that too could cause the rash but then l remembered l had it even before l began with those tablets,l have another physician appointment next week,l will see what he will give me...l was wondering,is it possible to get plastic surgery to get rid of this skin impurity for ever?should l go to a beautician or to a dr ?because l have been to the dr before.
l am so tired of my face that l would love to remove the foreskin

Hi,

I do understand your concern. For some women, they may present with rash or acne on their faces during pregnancy. Hormones may play a role here. I suggest that you follow your physician's advice and stop the medications. If the rash is being treated as acne, then stop these medications as most acne medications are contraindicated in pregnancy. I understand you are jus planning to be pregnant but even topical medications get absorbed by the skin and stays in the blood. We do not want these medications to affect the pregnancy.

Wash your face with a mild and bland cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena facial cleanser. Then apply a mild vitamin E cream thinly over the area. Do not pick on the rash. You may use a hypoallergenic sunscreen when planning to stay outdoors for long periods.  Also avoid spicy food and avoid food with high salt and MSG content. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Also get adequate sleep.

Discuss alternative mode of therapy with your physician .See if the condition improves.

Do you have any known allergies or dermatitis before?
