growth

I have a growth on the upper inside of my leg.  It is about half the size of my thumb and soft.  It sometimes appears a little bigger then others.  I have had it over 10 years.  It started out as a little "puffy" area and got bigger but hasn't increased in size for about 5 years.  It doesn't bother me much but it would be embarrassing if someone saw it.  What is it and what kind of a doctor do I see to have it removed and how would they do it?

You should see a dermatologist or surgeon, who can cut it out, if you want.  It is probably a cyst or other benign growth.

Best.
