how to treat detol burn on chafed skin

hi,I had pretty bad chafing in my groin area and my inner thighs. I've been trying to heal let it heal but it's been bothering me for about a month. I wasn't sure if it was infected or not so I put some undiluted detol on the area it has become very dry which is good for the chafing I guess but the skin is very tight and painful. any ideas would help thanks

Have you seen a doctor? Dettol can be very irritating, and if it’s truly burned, you should definitely see a doc.

I’d be hesitant to advise you to try anything else without you first seeing a doc. I’d hate for you to make it worse.

And don’t worry about the doc’s reaction. You are not nearly the first person who had put Dettol on the thighs.
