itching at night sometimes at morning times

hello doctor i am manjinder dhaliwal i am living at australia last from 3 months.my problem is this i ave itching last 2 months.itching all over my body specially at night.i acn not sleep at ngt.i feel someone ranging on my skin.when itching start i need to scrach my skin.mor itching near thighs,armpits &breast.plz tell me what is treatment for this.what is the cause of itching

every night and during hot shower and after shower i feel very itchy all over,but not in my armpits,but there uncontrollable itchiness but goes away in few minutes,what could it be pls help.

I moved into a new apt. 3 months ago. I didn't notice anything until my second month. I started itching so bad that I couldn't sleep in my bed. So I started thinking the last tenants must of had an animals with fleas. I started spraying with Orthro Home Defence Max & bombing every two weeks. I started sleeping on my couch & what ever it is, I cann't sleep on my couch or sit & watch TV. I contacted the apt manager & nothing is being done. I also ask my adjusting apt tenant to see if he is having the same problem. He said yes & the apt was told & they sprayed but it didn't help. This is a nightmare for me, I'm a clean freak & have not had any relationship for years. Could the apt have something in it or what can I do to find out how to stop what's going on?

thanks a lot i got too much reliefe from scabies.i purchased a lotion from pharmacy of scabies.it cures better.now i sleep very well at night.thanks for suggestion.

Hello,
Since the itching is more at night,then scabies can be a possibility. It is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

I feel that you should get it evaluated from a dermatologist and get the diagnosis confirmed.

If you are staying with a friend check whether the person also has the same.Scabies typically locates these areas,and permethin application as prescribed your doc should help you to recover.
