i too have had terrible itching for about 2 years. mine moves around one day on my stomach and next on legs but i itch all day and then at night when i try to relax and go to sleep i have terrible shooting pain under my skin where i itched all day i tried putting ice on the area but not much help please help i cant stand it

Pain and itch nerve fibres are common ,so sometimes itch is perceived as pain.Tab practin,ie cyproheptadine 1 day will relieve your itch and sedate you too taken at bedtime for about 10 days.Do consult your doctor about this variant of hives.
