pinhead blisters on hands and feet.

Question

I have had pinhead blisters on my feet (bottom and arch) which has recently spread to the top of my toes along with on my hands which started on the palm and now has worked it's why to the top of my hands and fingers. these blisters are extrememly itchy and irritating. sometimes i will pop them with a needle but that seems to make them itch even more. it is extrememly uncomfortable and I would really like to figure out what is going on. it started in the fall (here in Michigan) and went away on my hands when i took a trip to cali (it was winter here in mich when i went). once i got back home they came back. it has been very hot and humid here and the blisters are horrible in the morning when i wake up, they just start itching like crazy and itching them just makes them worse and itch more. i have used hydrocortisone and it really doesn't seem to do anything. PLEASE HELP ME!!

sounds like what my sister had been fighting read the following link abound Dyshidrosis and see if it fits and a topical steroid cream does help my sister. Good luck

I had tiny avout 50 pinpoint blisters on the palms and palm sides of my fingers.  But as each blister filled with fluid, the blisters joined together and soon I had blisters the size of nickels, then these filled and I had blisters like quarters, and finally they broke and the skin sloghed off leaving me with no skin on my palms and most of my fingers.  I cannot tell you how painful it was.  My family doctor had no idea what it was and advised me to put some vasoline on it.  I said, I can't, there's no skin, it's just weeping flesh.  I had to wear white cotton medical gloves and change them frequently and I used OTC spray numbing agents that you'd use for burns.  It gave me momentary relief.  I finally went to the hospital, having given up on my GP and soon as the ER doctor saw it she put me on a morphine drip.  At least she knew how seriously it was.  And being an insulin diabetic, an infection that big could lead to ambutation at the very least.  So don't wait if you get blisters go to a dermatologist.  The miracle cream that I'm now using is called Amcinonide Cream USP 0.1% (60 grams)

Give Bio Oil a try it has the soothing qualities and it when I had a similar thing last year it cleared it up with no recurrance :)

HI, im 19 years old, female, i live in kitchener ontario, canada, i have these really bad blisters on and inbetween my toes they had gone from little pencil led size to taking over and causing my skin to go raw and dry and painfull, i put athletes foot cream on but it didnt work, i went to a doctor and they gave me pills and that doesnt work its gotton so bad its on my fingers and my other toes and my other foot and the bottom of my hands i need help its soo itchy and irritating i go to bed and wake up with more i have good hygene but it doesnt matter. please help.

My pinhead blisters are GONE, after using Pepsodent toothpaste on them.  Search this site for posts on the subject.  I've been encouraging other sufferers to try this home remedy since, like you, I've found the doctor-recommended creams just make things much worse.  I don't know why Pepsodent works (or why other toothpastes don't work), but it does.  Honestly.  Check it out.

I have blisters on the bottoms of my hands and feet that started when i was 18, and now I'm 37. Yes that's 19 year itch. The first blister came up under my right ring finger nail, causing it to fall off. I carried the blisters only on my right hand for 20 years before it spread to my left right foot. I've been to Doctors that said it was my nerves. Valiums seemed to slow it down. Then they would come back. Lotions and cremes I've tried made it worse. I've been to the dermatologist and she told me that it was egsima and give me some expensive creme that again didn't work. I have high blood pressure now, and sugar runs in my family. I'm afraid if I can't find a doctor that knows what's wrong i could lose my hands and feet if i get sugar. My blisters only get worse when i sweat, during the day. I have got staff infection from one of the blisters. The go deep and do not stop itching until blister is popped. some of the blisters are as big as quarters. Please help me this is the worst itch imaginable. I'm married and have children. None of them have this and so far I have not spread this curse to anyone else.

Blisters which itch could be due to scabies or an allergy.
Scabies is a condition caused by microscopic parasitic mites (or bugs) that burrow under your skin and produce a red rash, along with severe itching.
The recommended treatment is a 5 percent permethrin cream, according to 2006 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Don't forget to put the cream between your toes and fingers, under your arms, in your navel, and on your genitals. Even areas that don't seem to be infected must be treated, so don't skip them. The cream stays on for eight to 14 hours (overnight is most convenient), and then you wash it off.
