please help-wrinkled skin

Please help. Steroids (for psoriasis), been using for years. Just started getting thin, wrinkled skin. Least little knock, I bruise. If steroids not used so much, does skin return to normal? My derm says it's OK to bruise so easily cos skin so thin. Please advise, help.

Thank you so much. I am on the case and willl find the UK name. If it's that good maybe I'll look 21 again! Can't wait to try it. Will let you know how it goes. So grateful . Take care.

I just looked it up. Biosil contains (for each daily dosage) 5 mg of silicon stabilized with 100 mg of choline. The product I have is made in Belgium and may go under a different name in England. No prescription is needed. My daughter is taking it regularly. She was in Iraq for several years and her skin suffered. Her skin is fine now. I have been taking liquid trace minerals plus Biosil for years. It got rid of the few liver spots I had and it cured me of a severe case of varicose veins. I don't if the trace minerals or the Biosil did the trick for these ailments. However, silicon is always recommended for skin, hair and nails. It can't harm you. Just take it in recommended dosages.

Thank you for your time. I've been waiting ages for someone to answer this! Trouble is, my psoriasis is in a very bad way just now, mega-outbreak, mad english weather (heatwave) plus very sick mother in hospital.
Dermo has said he knows side effects are horrible but have to treat it.
Is that Biosil under the same name in UK? If so, is it on prescription?
One big(well, quite small ) wrinkled itchy spot at present. Can I use it while using the steroids? And, does the skin ever repair once steroids are stopped?
Bless you for replying. Take care

I am against the long-term use of steroids unless, for some reason, there is no alternative. I don't think they even know all of its horrible side effects. Biosil (a silicon preparation) will help your skin.
