problem with bumps

I have had recurring bumps show up on the back of my neck, the top and sides of my head, and around my ears.  Occasional bumps rise on my upper back, stomach, buttocks and the back of my thighs.  The most severe and painful are the ones on my neck and head.

Recently, in taking some allergy medication, I noticed the redness and itching going away.  After the allergy medication stopped, the bumps came back with a vengeance.

They do not seem to be normal acne.  They do not form a head.  They will often recur in the same general areas on both sides of my neck or head at the same time.

Most recently allergy medication has been prescribed.  As soon as it stops, the bumps come back.

Can you give me some advise?  I have been wrestling with this problem for over 3 years.

I have been to a dermatologist many times.  Sometimes they give an antibiotic.  After using this for some time, small white bumps started appearing on my forehead for a period of a couple months at a time.

Ive think we have the same problem.. The bumps are cysts I think...in my case anyway
no antibiotic will kill the cyst, just supresses it from growing and getting inflamed...
unfortunately aflter reading lots, ive come to the decision that they need cutting out properly from a surgeon, not leaving any of the cyst 'sack' behind. Otherwise it just keeps comming back...
Ive had mine only 3 months, but its bugging the heck out of me...
Id rather a scar on my face than a bump sticking out like a sore thumb so Im getting it cut out... not really happy about it but what can you do...   ...nothing

Some people on the otherhand ive read to have sucsess with antibiotics and having them just lanced and drained with continuation of antibiotics, but not me... and im sure many others.

Cheers,
Danzo
