I have the same problem, only in the summer time. A lite cover of pure Emu Oil Twice a day does the trick in about two weeks the bumps are all gone.
If you put it on to thick you might get red blimeses so just a lite cover will do best

Hello,

Tattoo inks are pigments suspended in a carrier solution. Most inks are made of metal salts.Red ink is notorious for causing akin allergy reactions because of the metals contained in it(iron oxide, cadmium, mercury sulfide). The raised skin that you are having is due to allergic reaction or dermatitis.

Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl(causes drowsiness) and Claritin. Also apply calamine lotion and a mild steroid cream on the effected area.If the symptoms persist then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist.Oral steroids may be needed.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
