rash ?

I have a 4 y/o son who has had for the last 2 to 3 weeks what looks like to be a rash.  He was having hives about 2 months ago on and off.  But this stays.  I at first thought maybe ringworm, but the creams didn't work at all.  I then kept trying benedryl, didn't take it away.  He itches a lot, but not extremly.  He does'nt get interupted sleep from it. If you feel his skin it is raised, and spotty feeling.  And the patches are about 2 inches to 3 inches wide.  Some of it has actual small white indents.  The rash is on his arm, leg, and even his upper back.  I have not brought him to the dr because I assumed it is not bothering him much.  It isn't getting worse, but its not getting better.  I have let him sleep in my bed lots of times, and he has slept with his dad on the couch and we didn't get any rashes from him.  His nose looks like it is just starting on the inside with raw looking, like almost bleeding.  Sorry I can't explain his nose well, but its like raw inside and a little just out of the nose.  Not rashy, just raw.  Thanks so much, Tanya

No, u will not die.  But if it is that bother some u should see the dr they can give u a steroid to help it heal faster.  Usually when it is anywhere on the face they give prednisone.  Good luck and tell ur parents to bring u to the dr, it might not be poison ivy it could be other things.  Good luck.
