rash from heat

i have a rash which appears when im in hot conditions; a hot car, shower, direct sunlight, initially as i consume alcohol, exercising, talking to someone i dont know, under pressure etc. it appears on my neck, chest, arms legs and face, or one of these areas and eventually spreads all over, especially in sunlight, seemingly in places where the majority of sun exposure has been previously, although i rarely go out into the sun. it is not itchy, raised or anything, just red patches which eventually merge together and can cover the majority of the mentioned areas. it goes away after cooling down say 30 minutes, my issue is how to avoid this, as it can be very embarrassing and it limits what i can wear, due to avoiding embarrassment. thankyou

have just looked up this on a dermatology website, but the symptoms do not match, in my case the 'rash' just looks like sunburn, reddening of the skin and has no other characteristics than it feeling hot, like sunburn. in some cases it can appear and disappear in 10 minutes depending on the situation im in, other times it takes a little longer to disappear. i have tried to search many skin conditions on the internet but can not find anything which matches, as no other symptoms persist.
hopefully this helps.
thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply. Just wanted to note that the symptoms are only temporary, so after appearing, about an hour later it will have gone completely so my skin looks normal again, this can happen on a daily basis but they appearance of the rash is never there for more than an hour i would say. Does this change the diagnosis ?
thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello how are you?
I can confirm the exact cause only after a complete clinical evaluation. Based on the symptoms shared by you it is possible that you are suffering from Pityriasis rosea. It is believed to be caused by a virus. There is usually a single large patch called a herald patch and after several days there will be more skin rashes which may appear on the chest, back, arms, and legs .In this condition there are pink or pale red oval patches which may/may not itch. Gentle bathing and mild hydrocortisone creams may be used to soothe the irritation. Seek the opinion of a dermatologist. A clinical examination will confirm the diagnosis. I hope it helps.
Best of luck and take care!
