Hi

Differentials for this will be a fungal infection or a contact dermatitis. You may have developed an allergic reaction to certain triggers like the sanitary towels. Also lotions, creams, soaps that you use in the area may have also caused these. You may apply 1% hydrocortisone cream over the area. Do not apply steroid in the inner regions of the vagina. Use this in the external areas only. If there is a wound or broken skin in the affected areas then do not use the steroid. You may opt to discuss with your doctor an antifungal medication with a steroid preparation.

Hi,
This could be a fungal infection or Contact dermatitis which is being caused by the chafing action of the sanitary towel against skin folds.Contact dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin caused by direct contact with an irritating or allergy-causing substance (irritant or allergen).
Irritant dermatitis, the most common type of contact dermatitis, involves inflammation resulting from contact. In some cases, the best treatment is to do nothing to the area.
You could just apply eucalyptus or cocnut oil on the rash and leave it , it will subside.
Do not further irritate the area as it will lead to worsening of the rash.Keep groin clean and dry.
Tinea cruris is the scientific name for fungal infection of the groin region. It causes itching or a burning sensation in the groin area, thigh skin folds, or anus.
Affected areas may appear red, tan, or brown, with flaking, peeling, or cracking skin.Tinea cruris is best treated with antifungal drugs applied topically. Traditionally creams containing tolnaftate, clotrimazole or miconazole have been used, although newer agents such as butenafine are also used.
