redness on face

I have redness on my face for a long time. My cheeks and nose sometime are red, but my forehead and chin are normal. That's not from sun damage. I don't like that redness, so I would like to know what ist that, and how can I fix that.

Hello,
From the symptoms rosacea needs to be ruled out. The exact cause of rosacea is not known. The basic process seems to involve dilation of the small blood vessels of the face. Rosacea is a cutaneous disorder primarily of the central part of the face , such as forehead; cheeks ;nose; and chin.
Treatment options vary from antibiotic creams, antihistaminics, sun screens to laser treatment. A dermatologist’s evaluation will be the best.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

It could be Rosacea. Check out some pictures and see if it looks familiar. Exercise or sweating and heat tend to make this issue worse. A cooling mask is good to help treat and there are also perscription meds out there your dermatologist can perscribe to help if that is the case. Good luck!
