same problem with breakouts past four months

I am having the same problem as the person above, however, I have saw a dermatologist and am now using glytone, benzacline, and tezaran cream. Neither seem to be working. As the person above has stated, I still break out every month around the time that my cycle is supposed to start. The bumps are very small, appear to be whiteheads and appear around my jawline, the right and left side of my face, forehead, etc. Is there anything I can do to prevent my face from breaking out. I too have never had a problem with acne before. I am beginning to wonder if this condition is due to something more serious going on with my body or if it is perhaps hormonal. Please help me if you can. It is so embarassing to have to walk around with my face like this.

This discussion is related to Rash and acne like breakouts on face once a month for past three months.

Hi,

With it's cyclic outbreaks, this could be due to hormonal changes in your body. Aside from hormonal changess during mentruation, the following have been found to make acne worse: oil-based makeup, suntan oil and hair products, stress, squeezing or picking at blemishes and hard scrubbing of the skin.

It is important to clean your face everyday and avoid harsh chemicals. Over-the-counter acne medications may also help. There are plenty of people with the same situation you are in. Relax and do not stress yourself too much.

Take care and keep us posted.

I too have the same problem that has only just begun 4 months ago.
My whole face is covered in a rash with small white heads underneath.
I am 49 years old and am devastated for 10 days a month with this condition.  I am going to the doctor to get some advice.  Don't think
he'll know any better
