scarring on penis from herpes type 2
i have recently been infected with herpes type 2; and had lesions on head of penis and shaft , moderate. Question is from an asthetic point of view , do the scars disappear completely ??
are the subsequent out breaks , if unlucky enough to have them , cause a similar amtout of sores and scarring??

Yes. Herpes affects the epidermis, so marks go away completely in most cases. They do take a few weeks or even months to do so, however. Best to leave them alone so they'll heal.
