Where ever i have read it says shingles happen to people who have either AIDS or Cancer .I dont have either but was dignosed with brain tumor sometime ago...what does this mean.

shingles is the virus chix pox, it stays latent in your spine and anything can cause it to become active and thus you start to see symptoms of it. If you notice by now its usually starts at the spine area and spreads. A good dose of meds and good personal hygene you should be cleard in about a few weeks.

Shingles can occur in any person regardless of whether he has HIV or AIDS. It is an infection caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which is the virus that causes chickenpox. Shingles occurs in people who have had chickenpox and represents a reactivation of the dormant varicella-zoster virus.
