skin feels like it is tearing on the inside

I am not sure what I did or even if I did anything. One day not long ago I got on my knees and it felt like the skin on the inside of my right knee by the knee cap was ripping. I do not have any bumps, or numbness or anything like that. With in the last couple of weeks the left knee is experiencing the same thing, just not as painful.

Hello,
Unfortunately I am not able to understand what you mean by tearing sensation. If you mean painful skin then fibromyalgia should be ruled out. It is a disorder classified by the presence of chronic widespread pain and tactile allodynia(pain even on touching). If there is any deep seated pain in knee then causes of knee pain need to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I am having the same exact symptoms. Just in my skin on the outside portion of my left knee. No fibromyalgia or other underlying conditions or pain. Almost feels like the hair is all being ripped out, but it’s not. No spots or miles or anything. Concerned about a skin cancer that isn’t visible? The answer above is 100% not in the right direction.
I have the same thing on the same side of my knee - did you find any solutions??
