skin rash

Over a year ago I started developing a contact dermatitis on my hands.  I work in and operating room and I also assist in surgery as an RNFA.  So, as of a couple years ago I am scrubbing my hands for cases more often.  I was allergy tested by a dermatologist and told I was allergic to Carbomate and Thiuram.  These are chemical acclerators found in gloves to speed up the production process.  In addition, being allergic to those chemicals, means I am sensitive to rubber products, fragrances, soaps, cosmetics, and many other things.  I go to a allergist-nutrionist to help clear me of the allergies.  This rash has never gone away;  I am at my wits end.  I use Clobetazol cream to calm down itching, I also use Protoptic ointment to help with the itching.
What can I do to get rid of this problem?  I am not alone in this.  Other OR nurses, RNFA's and even surgeons have this problem.
What are my options?  I don't know where to turn!!

You can try barrier cremes with zinc oxide and titanium-dioxide.

i have to purchase Ansell Dermaprene Ultra sterile gloves.  They are quite expensive and they are the only ones that don't have chemical acclerators in them.

So do all the gloves have this or can you have them special order gloves?

This site shows some gloves with aloe coating.  I wonder if that would help you.
