this rash thing on my feet

i started working on a farm a few years ago. i wore theese boots that covered about a foot up to your leg.
not much later i developed a terrible rash on my feet that is very red, itchy, and painful.
when i scratch it, watery stuff comes out, it itches more and is even more painful. When i wake in the morning it is dry and scaly. When i come home and take off my socks the same things start to happen.
It is only when i remove my socks after a regular day of school or work this happens.

My doctor gave me this cream called Triamcinolone. He said it was like cortazone on steroids. It says it is an Acetonide cream. I dont know what any of theese big words mean. He said it was most likely from my feet sweating.

How can i get rid of this???

Hi,

For how long has this been happening?

You most probably have eczema secondary to allergic contact dermatitis. Do you still use your boots? I suggest you stop wearing them and get new ones of different material. Also wear socks with your shoes. The material of the footwear may be an allergen that reacts with your skin.

Keep your shoes and socks dry. Wash them every after use and do not wear socks when wet.

Steroids are usually prescribed since they relieve swelling and inflammation in the area. Discuss your concerns with your dermatologist. Clarify issues that you may not understand. A skin test by an experienced allergologist may help determine other allergens that may cause similar reactions.

I hope this helps.
