tiny itchy blisters on arms & legs

Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs.  The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there.  They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss.  When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little  amber colored liquid.  Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.  These broken blisters often leave  (little open sores) which can be difficult and slow to heal.  These outbreaks seem to come in waves, as I'll often go weeks or even a month or two without a sign of blisters, itching, or infection.  I have never had any white puss or swelling redness around these troublesome blisters/vesicles, which isn't like any normal skin infection I've ever had before.  Can anyone help me diagnosis this problem please?

I am a 23 year old woman never had any issues with anything related to skin. When I got a bump on my wrist I thought it was just from my hair tie I put on my wrist at night. Then more smaller bumps developed around it, turning it into more of a horseshoe look. All on my wrist and backs of my hands, straight lines of tiny bumps. Itchy if i notice them. But I read something that it was a form of eczema, cause their on my feet now and front of my knees. But their not red unless i scratch them and then fluid comes out and they scab. I dont have insurance so im putting off going to the doctor but now their showing up on my back and other areas. Straight lines of tiny bumps. Perfect lines.... And other weird shapes... Dyshidrotic Eczema was the closest thing i could find to what i have but i havent seen anything about it occuring in straight lines. And I dont have a sweating problem... I dont think their spreading when I scratch them cause the next ones always show up in random places I hardly if ever touch on a daily basis, such as my feet lol......

I broke out severely with these very itchy, liquid filled  blisters for the first time in August. I talked to a pharmacist they told me it was poison ivy, oak or sumac so they told me to use ivy dry as benadryl topical wouldn't work, within hours of using the ivy dry the blisters got worse, I went to the doctors he said the same thing the pharmacist said and gave me steroids to take,  this worked it cleared it up.  Twice since then it has come back not as severe as the first time, but on both arms between the wrist and elbow not just the one spot as the first time and its not from the sun or heat as it is January in Michigan right now and it came back.  I think stress may bring it on for me but I have used benadryl which doesn't help the itch, I've used calamine lotion which seems to work somewhat.   While talking to my neighbor she told me to look on this site:

http://www.coconut-oil-central.com/coconut-oil-poison-ivy.html

click onto this site then go to the side bar and click under cures and look at  all the things it states that coconut oil can cure.  Here is a few statements I copied and pasted from the site under cures:   coconut oil can cure and protect you from herpes.....Coconut oil jock itch? End the discomfort and frustration of this skin fungal infection of the groin with coconut oil (CNO), the world’s all natural, fungus-fighting tropical oil......Coconut oil eczema blessings keep your skin as healthy as they can get, safely and naturally.

Among other things listed as curing is:  Chicken Pox, Skin Fungus, Shingles,  Stretch Marks, Parasites,  Poison Ivy or Oak, Prostate Enlargement, Psoriasis, Ringworm, Varicose Veins, Wrinkles, Yeast Infections, Warts, Nausea,  Eczema, Cold sores, Hypertension, Heart Disease....the list goes on but check it out yourself.

I have been slathering it on my bumps  and blisters for about 24 hrs now and the itch is just about gone, barely there, at times its totally gone.   I'll keep you updated and report back in about a week and see how its going.......Best of luck to everyone in tolerating whatever it is we have

Hi, you are the only person on this thread who has described pretty much exactly what I have been experiencing for about 6 years, including pigment loss. Did you ever end up going to the doctor? I live in Iowa, and the climate is very dry in the winter and very humid in the summer, and I experience my symptoms year-round, although this has been a particularly odd winter this year. The temperature has fluctuated a lot (it was 54 degrees today!), and my legs are the worst they have been in years. Please tell me you got some answers! It sounds like everyone else has had to search and search, with no real solution.

All this looks like Prurigo Nodularis.  I have it now.   Rental surfboard in the Philippines.  I am using hdyrocortisone, coco butter, fungus (aka jock itch and atheletes foot and vaginal),and  antibiotic, creams.  And a poison ivy scrub that is pretty good.   All over the counter.  The first two will stop the itching.   I have not fiqured out how to kill it.   At this time there is no known cure.   They do not even know what it is.
