white blotches on penis

Hi, I'm 18 yrs old and I have these small pale/white irregularly shaped blotches on the shaft of my penis.  They are in a cluster in a kind of localized area.  As far as I can tell, they are smooth and flat and they have been there for about 3 months.  I went to a dermatologist about this before but he said it was probably nothing and if they got bigger just come back but they are still lingering.  Its really bothering me because they won't go away and I can't stop worrying about it.  Is there any way to get rid of these spots? (like maybe a cream or something)  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thx

To be honest, I don't know what these are, but they certainly don't sound like anything.  It's normal to be self-conscious about minor variants in the way penis skin looks, but most of these changes are just variants of normal, and you can't change them.  Now that you've found out they don't mean anything, I advise you to forget about these patches.  I wouldn't be surprised if they just went away over time, since I can't think of any patients I've seen with persistent pale blotches in this area.

Take care.
