wrinkled palms/fingers/fingertips (16 yrsold)

I'm 16 years old and for a couple weeks have had wrinkled fingertips(prune-like , just like the effect from getting out of the tub), and also wrinke lines running vertically down my fingers, and also on my palms. Fingers are also quite wrinkly and skin is 'tight'. Not sure what the cause of this would be, although it's starting to make me a little suspicious - I just thought it would go away on it's own. It's not dehydration or under-moisurizing .. two causes which I've seen commonly. I'm definitely getting enough water and moisturizer. This has never happened to me before, and is really just quite annoying. Anyone know what this could be caused by? Any medical type thing? Thanks.

I had a similar issue and it turned out I was allergic to a dish detergent - one that was concentrated and literally sucking all the oils out of my hands...don't use anything that degreases (like dish detergents, rubbing alcohol, etc...) until the natural moisture balance comes back and moisturize A LOT - using baby oil at night... It can take some time for the redness and dryness to go away if you have had your hands in such a detergent for 5 mins or more... Hope this helps!!!!

I've got the same issue.  Never had it before but for the last couple weeks my finger tips seem to be permenantly prune like.  Mosturizers don't seem to make any difference.  If you find any solution please let me know.
