yeast infection

i have my yeast infection 3 weeks ago...  but until now, i think its not yet ok.. i still feel itchiness on my genital area but not that itchy anymore compare to the first week.. i itch sometimes but i have still this watery grayish discharge.. i dont feel any burning sensation when i urinate.. i am just worried about this discharge.. i know its not a normal discharge because it is too many.. but on my first week of infection.. i hev this discharge,, chheezy cottage like discharge.. but compared to my discharge now.. it is watery.. grayish in color.. is it still yeast infection?tenx.

The discharge sounds like Bacterial vaginosis but exact diagnosis can be confirmed only after getting a swab culture of the discharge.I would suggest you to get a swab culture of the discharge or cervix after consulting a gynecologist.

helo..tenx for the answer.. its not that grayish in color.. the color is like the color of the nail if its long.. cloudy white i guess?? coz if its grayish its like the color of ash isnt it? but thats not the color of my discharge..dirty white i guess.. tenx.. and its itchy sometime..

Cottage cheese discharge is due to candida infection but grayish thin discharge is due to bacterial vaginosis. You can use metronidazole gel(metrogel) or clindamycin cream(cleocin) for local
application on vagina.They have fewer side effects.But pls inform your
gynecologist before talking them.
