Is this diabetes?

I am 14 years old and a few days ago started to experience:
-dry lips and throat
-drinking more to help dry throat (but didn't help but I couldn't stop drinking water/juice/soy milk) I'm not sure if I'm really thirsty or just trying to help throat
-tired and low energy
-going to the bathroom more because of drinking more
I also have eczema (but have had before.

It's not clear what your symptoms mean. If it continues I would go to the doctor and get checked to see what is going on with you. If you start to feel much worse and have flu like symptoms or vomiting you should go to the ER

Aha! I actually had mono, but so many years ago it didn't ring bells. The sore throat didn't seem to fit in, so that explains it now! Not fun and the only treatment (unless it's changed over the years) is rest, rest, rest. But it will go away in time, and diabetes won't, so it is good news even if it doesn't feel that way at the moment!

Got the results back:
Mono not Diabetes. That would explain the tiredness, chills (I didn't mention those...oops), and drinking so much. I was drinking a lot because I was having a really hard time swallowing.
Thanks so much for the support!

back from doctors.
had a throat swab, urine test and blood test. I'll get to know the results tomorrow if anything is serious or next week if not.
Not feeling that great right now-faint and gross. (I fainted at the doctor's)

I can understand that! Let us know what the doctor says. If you are diagnosed with diabetes I'll PM you the name of a website with a lot more diabetics including some your age.

Thanks for the info.
It has been getting worse:
going to the bathroom a lot more, drinking tons, really low energy.
I'm going to talk to my mom when she gets home because even if its not diabetes I hope there's something the doctor can do to help.
It's really interfering!
