My 11 year old son..
Hi,
Please could someone help, I live in the uk and and I have an 11 year old son. He drinks alot of fluid and has lots of mood swings. I am concerned that he might have diabetes. Or is it just me been to protective of him... one more thing he is an active child he playes football/soccer but he had these "symptons" before he started to play sports... please can some one help and put my mind at rest. Many thanks.

The only way to find out if your son has diabetes is to see a doctor and have him tested. Drinking more, urinating more and being tired, losing weight are all symptoms of diabetes. But they could indicate something else or nothing at all. If you are concerned, see your doctor. Nobody online can diagnose him.
