Not sure what's going on, dizzy and weak

Hello,
I'm a male 34 years old no history of diabetes in my family.

About two weeks ago, I started to get dizzy and experienced heart burn for two weeks. Each time I would eat, I would have bowel movement within 5 to 10 minutes.

At this point, when I'm hungry is loose my sense of balance, my vision is blurred and I feel pressure on my forehead, eyes and nose and then tingling burning sensation at my feet and finger tip and I'm somewhat thirsty.

It feels like the more hungry I get, the worse the symptoms are. As soon as I eat, I get better but the process repeats again when if I go hungry again.    My urine has been fairly clear for the last week.

My primary doctor ran initial blood tests on me and did not find any indications that I'm diabetic.  However I do have all the symptoms.  I'm going to do a glucose tolerance test.

Now I'm kinda worried because I read online that you could loose your sight if you had diabetes or other serious complications.

Does the diabetes  symptoms can appear out of nowhere?

Thank you.

Tapas

The dry mouth sensation and other symptoms (hunger, dizziness, etc.) COULD be symptoms of hypoglycemia. When my sugar levels are lower than normal, I feel those things. Eyes get dry, vision can sometimes blur, and things can even look "funny" when glucose is extremely low. The glucose tolerance test should show whether you are hypoglycemic or not. You might try drinking a little bit of juice when you feel this way to see if you feel better quickly.

What about my symptoms? Do they indicate diabetes?

The glucose were taken without fasting.

Thanks.

Both blood glucose levels seem to be within normal ranges (80-120).

I wanted to add that my doctor did a glucose check it was at 101 but that was without fasting.

And some blood work (no fasting) glucose at 87 does this mean anything?

I think it may be some type of bacteria in my intestine.  My doctor doesn't believe so due to the lack of dierreah but my stool hasn't been normal.

I'm not a doctor, but I don't think your symptoms indicate diabetes.

Hello, Tapas!  I'm not a medical expert, I'm just a parent of a child with diabetes.

If left untreated for years, diabetes can cause loss of vison, as well as many other serious complications.  Diabetes is also not necessarily a disease passed on from genetics:  many people with no history of diabetes in their family are being diagnosed.

That being said, some diabetes symptoms are also symptoms of other issues.  What is your diet?  Do you eat healthy?  Do you eat regularly?  If you don't eat well, or you don't eat on a regular schedule, you can experience the same kinds of low blood sugar conditions that diabetics do.  Your body needs carbohydrates just like everyone else, and if it doesn't get them, it reacts with the symptoms you noted.  Just yesterday I was an hour late with lunch after missing my morning snack, and I was experiencing light headedness and queasiness.  It happens

I applaud you for going to the doctor to follow through with the analysis, and for doing all the checks ot find out for sure.  But diabetes doesn't just sneak up on you, it's a build up of problems over time.  But please continue to be concerned until it is definitely ruled out.  Your health is just too important to ignore.
