Pain after orgasm

I'm a 36 year old male with Type 1 diabetes and end stage renal disease (on dialysis).  Like any guy, I masturbate.  Over the last few months, I have started experiencing pain after orgasm.  It started as a throbbing chest pain.  Then the throbbing expanded to my chest and upper back.  Now it is in my chest, upper back, and the right side of my neck.  The throbbing is happening with my heartbeat, but my pulse isn't racing.  It just feels like my heart is trying to pound its way out of me.  The pain lasts for about one to two minutes, then goes away.  Should I be worried?  Any advice would be great.  Thanks

Your symptoms are definitely very concerning, and should be brought up with your doctors.

Your case is medically complicated.  If this does turn out to be heart related, maybe some form of cardiac rehabilitation may be helpful.

Your best bet now would also be to aggressively work on maintaining normal blood sugars.  With diet and meds.  I would recommend "Bernstein Diabetes University" on U-tube, as one such resource.

Wishing you well.   Please come back and let us know how you are doing.

Yes I would explain to primary. Primary may do EKG in office. But it will probably be wasted of $$. They should send u to a cardiologist for a stress test. If there is anything going on...it should pick it up. If u physically can't handle jogging on a treadmill for 5 min..(ugh it feels like forever) they may just order an ultrasound to view heart along with EKG. But u should def get a checkup. Best wishes
