Burning Feet

I've had problems early in the morning with my feet getting hot and waking me up.  When i go to bed they're ok but sometimes about 5 or 6 AM in the morning I try to cool them down by putting them outside the sheets and blankets. I feel like standing in ice water.  Any ideas what this is?  I'm type 2 Diabetic.  Sugar level in the mornings averages about 145.....

Probably is Nueropathy your fasting sugars in the morning are a little high should be at the most 110. Get your sugars undercontroll and stay that way for awhile and feet should get better. Hope your better..

You have diabetic neuropathy. It tends to be worse while sleeping or upon waking. Get diabetic shoes. They help a lot during the day. My doctor put me on LYRICA but there are other drugs too. What ***** is it will never reverse. It gets worse if you don't keep your sugar under control. The LYRICA helps me a lot BUT there are side effects. In my case it lowered my platelet count so talk to your doctor first
