I do cheese sticks. I have found too many carbs in the evening kills my morning test number
Try. It to snack before bed. If you do do not make it a carb. Try a half ounce of nuts. Also exercise for 15 to 20 minutes. Preferably weights/light calisthenics. Waist twists with light weights, crunches & reverse crunches, but definitely light weights strength training. It will have a carry over effect on your bg in morning. Drink lots of water during the day . Water reduces bg if in sufficient amounts
When I eat a snack at night, I'll either have a piece of Laughing Cow cheese, a spoonful of peanut butter, or a few nuts.
I try not to snack at bedtime before if I have to, I eat a Greek yogurt, a scoop of peanut butter, or a slice of cheese
If you by chance live close to a Kroger grocery store they sell a yogurt called Carbmaster it has 5 carbs and 70 calories
I typically don't snack. For me it's not good for weight or blood sugars.
Some people though, depending if you are on meds and your response, may find a small snack before bed is helpful. snack including fat and protein may be helpful. Cheese and boiled egg, some nuts, cold meats, plain full fat greek youghurt with some nuts / berries added, etc.
I usually eat veggies. A good one for me is whole wheat bread with peanut butter and blue berries or yogurt
