My husband is a diabetic type 2.  He has been having pain on his right side since yesterday.  He has no other symptoms.  His sugar was 350 last night and he thought that was the cause of his pain, but after taking insulin his sugar drop down to 98 and the pain is still there.  He has never had any problems with his kidneys before, but he did have problems with his gallbladder.  Could his gallbladder be the problem?

Right side abdominal pain has several causes; Gallstones, kidney stones, a pulled muscle, Crohn's disease, even a possible hernia to name a few. Best that he see his doctor for a thorough examination. Your husband should also take care to not let his glucose level get to 350, as levels in this range can be troublesome. Hope everything works out for the best.
