Carbohydrates will raise your BG. Sugar is a carb, so is rice, potato, bread, noodles... ALL carbs raise BG
the ONLY way to tell is to test your BG.
BG over 140 is damaging to your nerves, hart, eyes.
spend enough time with high BG and suffer the consequences.
