Has you husband not seen a doctor about his cranial pain? An MRI may be needed to determine the root cause. Breathing exercises may help but they sure won't cure your husband if there is a true underlying disease going on. Take him to a doctor for complete checkup ASAP.
Missed one point -
The dizzy spells will subside as the body gets used to the extra oxygen in the blood.Keep reporting the progress. It is good that you have made a start.
The pranayam technique sends oxygenated blood to the brain and the rest of the body.
So start with 5 minutes on first day and build up the timing gradually over several days.Sit in a comfortable position and do it gently. If you feel dizzy or light headed, stop and resume after one minute or longer (depending on how comfortable you feel). Both of you can do it and compare notes, as it helps healthy people feel better as well.
Post your question on the Ask A Doctor's forum. Dr Ramsetty maybe able to answer your question.
im just wondering my husband was the one you said should try the pranayam technique. apon his first trying after like one or two minutes of doing this he got really light headed and dizzy.i am just wondering if this will eventually subside or will it be like this all the time? also you said if he feels like this he should stop and start again later, about how long should he wait to start over again?
Eye problem is side effect of diabetes.Follow this and the diabetes will be controlled and so the side effects will disappear gradually.Do come back to report progress, so others may benefit.
These pranayam exercises will help control the diabetes and the side effects.Build up the timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume later. The benefits will be noticed in weeks as the sugar level is checked daily.Over the long tern the diabetes will be in full control and the medicine can be reduced in consultation with the doctor.
