losing weight

i posted this question on the doctors forum also. i was diagnosed with type 2 last monday. my symptoms were extreme thirst frequent urination and tiredness with occasional blurred vision. but i also lost 11-12 pounds. i was prescribed metformin 500 mgs once a day and also glipzide once per day. i have stopped the thirst and subsequently the frequent bathroom visits has stopped. my blurred vision seems to have went away as well. my main concern is that i cannot seem to stop losing weight. i am trying my best to eat healthy. i have cut out all table sugar, soft drinks, potatoes white bread etc. i have been eating vegetables, lean meats, whole wheat breads etc. i stay hungry all the time and i eat but the weight is still falling. any advise or help to help me put back on some weight would be greatly appreciated.

i had the EXACT initial symptoms you are having when i was diagnosed! my weith loss eventually stopped and i began putting some back on but it took awhile. just keep WATCHING your sugars and carb intakes as it will continue to drop otherwise. i added a workout regimen to my lifestyle as well
