Low blood sugar, but not really

I am an otherwise healthy 20yr old woman. However, I have been having some problems with my blood sugar levels. I frequently seem to be having episodes of low blood sugar, only to find that my blood sugar is only on the lower end of normal. My symptoms include feeling faint and dizzy, clammy skin, and pallor. I also feel jittery and nervous. Additionally, I have night sweats so bad that I’ll wake up and my sheets will be soaked in sweat- literally damp to the touch (but even during those episode my blood sugar technically isn’t low- the lowest I’ve recorded it during a night sweat episode was 92mg/dl). My symptoms are always relieved by eating. However, even after eating a high glycemic index food or meal, my blood sugar has never been more than 105mg/dl even just 1-2 hours afterwards. It just seems to stay around 90-105mg/dl no matter what I do.
My doctors are dismissing the possibility of diabetes just because my blood glucose technically isn’t low. I’ve had bloodwork done, and everything came back normal except for a slightly high lymphocyte count. Hepatitis has been ruled out. Anemia and cardiovascular issues have been ruled out as well. Also, I’ve taken my blood sugar both at the doctor’s office and with other devices in order to rule out an error with the meter. When I did my blood work, my fasting glucose was 97mg/dl.
I’m very frustrated because no one seems to have an answer to this problem, and it really is bothersome, not to mention sometimes dangerous when I’m driving, etc. Do you have any ideas as to why my body acts like my blood sugar is low even when it technically isn’t? Why doesn’t eating give me a bigger blood sugar “boost”? Why does my blood sugar remain relatively low all the time? Any advice or insights are greatly appreciated!

You might have reactive hypoglycemia. I was having the same kinds of issues, however my fasting sugar was around 65. Your body however might work different and a blood sugar in the 90s is low you you, so you're having those symptoms. To control it I don't eat sugary or carb heavy foods. A clean diet helps me maintain my blood sugar

From what you are saying, your blood sugar appears to be in normal range.  It may be necessary to rule out other causes of your symptoms.

Have  you seen an endocrinologist?  Have they also checked adrenal function / cortisol levels?

Would also suggest they do comprehensive thyroid screening to be sure there is no issue with hyperthyroid, which symptoms may possibly be similar to that of low blood sugar.

Hope this helps.
